the languages

i liked this movie. it was a very compelling and interesting spy action flick with a cool premise (more nk related movies please!). but the thing that i liked the most in contrast to most hollywood productions was mostly authentic way of talking. the german official, the waitress and the terrorists were all native speakers and unlike many american movies i did not require subtitles to understand lines supposedly spoken in my own language. then they talked english with each other because guess what? americans, germans, turks don't speak korean. this may be born out of necessity but it still gives a very authentic flavour.

it often takes me out of the action when the supposed foreign villain speaks english with a horrendous accent. here this was not the case.
