Fairly inept documentary

The constant repetition of shots and images, the interviews with questionable "experts," the pulling of unnecessary stock footage unrelated to the specific topic at hand...these among other problems, make this a very weak production.

Are the narrative "voices" of the sisters actually theirs, at any given time? Obviously, the films and musical recordings are authentic, but Thompson and Allen are listed as narrators, and I wonder if that extends beyond a traditional role. Are they the voices of the sisters, at times?
