Funniest moment in Season 3

When Detective Wayne "Purple" Hays meets Amelia Reardon the school teacher, and as their relationship develops ... among the many flashbacks in this series ... there is a moment where they go out to dinner together and have their first date.

Amelia explains to Wayne that she heard that cops were just "pussy" hounds trying to see if Detective Hayes was just after her for a quick physical relationship.

Hayes tells her he never uses that word [pussy], unless he is referring to a man.

When Amelia asks him what he does say, he says "cock holster", and they both laugh because it is so unexpected and have a little flirty moment. It was very funny.

I have to wonder if that was in the script or did they improvise that because it seemed so out of context and funny in an otherwise very heavy season.
