is season 3 worth watching?

I watched the first 3 episodes, and it just didn't pull me in at all.

Should I finish out the season?

reply

Honestly... not if the first 3 eps didn't grab you.

reply

Well, nothing really happened there yet that could grab me.

I mean, yes, it was quality, everything was very well done, but the story itself wasn't exactly captivating, and I was wondering if there was a payoff in the end.

reply

Unfortunately season 3 wasn't even close as captivating as the first two seasons.

reply

S 3 was very well done. Better than S2. It's much more about the main character's story than the mystery. If you can sit back and enjoy some great acting performances then you'll like S3.

reply

Season 3 was much closer in quality to Season 1 than Season 2 was. I liked it. Ali gave a great performance

reply

And you haven’t been here in over a year, AND you insisted that Littlefinger was still alive, so why would I listen to you?

This show is dead. Simpsons-level dead.

I felt the same way, stuck with it and feel that season 3 rivals season 1 in just how great it is. Didn't care for season 2.

reply

Okay, thanks, I'll try.

The detective plot was good, but the story of their dysfunctional marriage went nowhere, was boring, worn down the whole season. Similar problem with season 2 and Frank & Jordan's baby issue. Both tangential to the crime plot.

S3 is the best season just slightly ahead of S1. S2 is a mess.

Season 3 is a painful watch. The cop with the lady writing the book?? OMG it's like watching paint dry with those two and their dry, boring lame quiet sad useless dialog that seemed to go on for hours and hours. Season 3 could of been 4 episodes instead of 8. I made it to the end, but to be honest I could wait for it to be over.
