IMDB had tons and tons of people, but here, there are lots of people, but I also
have just as big of an ignore list, and there are very few really good discussions as well.
It was one of two alternatives after they closed the messages boards on IMDB. Not sure where the rest of the others went to though. This was one of the sites and there was another that I forgot the name of. Let's not forget MC cloned most of the old IMDB boards before closure as well.

shareWhat is the background of themoviedb.org and is it any good? I personally don't like the Reddit layout as a whole so I stick to moviechat and hope this can pick up.
What a shame still IMDB shut down their message boards. I remember there was a lot of good discussion for most of the shows.
This place should be poppin' with all kinds of commentary. But it's not, because not very many people know about movie chat...or themoviedatabase.com. Whoever runs this site, let's just hope they can find ways to get better traffic.
