Milkha Singh should have charged the producers

Apparently Milkha Singh only charged the producer 1 Rupee to buy the rights of the movie to make a story on his life. Considering how it is all a profit making enterprise, he should have charged at least Rs 1 crore and given to charity if he did not need it. Given that the movie has already made Rs 75 crore, that should not be a big thing.

Bizarrely even Sonam Kapoor has also charged only Rs 11 for this movie.

The producers must be laughing

I'm sure he doesn't care about the money. He cared more that kids would learn about who he was and how he became a legacy in India through this film. I'm sure the producers will donate a portion of the profits themselves, seeing how its already tax free in a few places.

Singh sold the film rights for one rupee but inserted a clause stating that a share of the profits would be given to the Milkha Singh Charitable Trust.
