Make up your own continuing story or conclusion for Twisted

Someone on another thread asked what was Danny protecting Jo from and I said:

We'll never know since they cancelled the show. Maybe people can make up their own ending for the show.

What do we remember from the show that would possibly give us clues to what he was protecting her from?

So what do people think Danny was protecting Jo from? What did you want to see happen in the show? No arguing please, everyone should give their own ideas and respect other ideas since it really doesn't matter now that they cancelled the show.

My thoughts are maybe Tess (Jo's mom) killed Danny's aunt and that is what he was protecting Jo from. Maybe Danny knew more than he said about Vikram also and maybe Vikram made threats on Jo's life.

Protecting Jo from her life being a lie. Their parents had an affair and a child was created, which was Jo. Tess found out and tried to blackmail Vic.

If he knew Jo was his half sister, why would he become romantically involved with her then?
