Who ended up being shot?

Yea, could u all help me with that? Was it Charlie

I re-watched it twice; and as far as I can tell, everyone was in position without moving during the entire fadeout, with Jo's dad holding the gun I thought at Charlie, so it certainly looks like that.

However, this show is great at twists and turns, so I feel that there are no guarantees that that is what they would have done.

Bring this show back!!!

If I became the new show runner for Season 2, because clearly the guy who did Season 1B was getting fired if the show got renewed. So I enter my first day on the job as show runner. I am introduced to my desk, it'll need some work but day dreamers can't be choosers. Anyway, I would have to deal with the nonsense cliffhanger that was left by the guy who basically ruined Twisted. I would have had Season 2 about the dad shooting Charlie and killing him. This leads to the cop / dad losing his mind after what he has done. The cop dad will blackmail everyone else who is there by saying something like, "if you ever tell anyone that I did this, I will have evidence on of all of you to the contrary and whoever says a word will be the one to go down for it." Throughout the season you will see the cop dad change completely as he can't seem to get over what he did. Danny's mom somehow finds out about Charlie and how Vikram had a kid with Tess. She grows suspicious of the disappearance of him and starts investigating in hopes of uncovering the truth. As far as the guy and lesbo that moved in with Danny and his mom, they are never mentioned of again and not in a single scene of Season 2. That was the stupidest nonsense this show ever tried to pull. I'm almost glad it got cancelled so the show wouldn't be ruined anymore. Season 1A was a great show but Season 1B just took all the mystery out and the direction it went was awful. Stupid pointless characters that were added and just tossing out actually interesting characters from the first half of the season. If the original show runner would have stayed on for 1B, I guarantee this show would have been just as great as 1A and I'm confident it would have gotten a second season as well. Oh well.

This show was terrific until about episode 15 or so when some of the major secrets finally come out. After that it starts to transition into soap opera mode, with adding additional characters, imploding plot lines, desperately trying to keep a story going that had already reached its natural conclusion.

With tongue only halfway in cheek, I think the final shot at the end was symbolic. Who was shot? The show itself.
