Can I have my 82 minutes back?

what a complete waste of time. neither artist has a strand of talent so listening to them complain about how nobody will pay anything for their garbage isn't exactly riveting. i wonder how much money the 2 of them have sucked off the welfare system because it never was even hinted that maybe they took of a real job (like waiting on tables) to help with expenses. the guy is a drunk to boot. the only thing that was sad was that they decided (i'm sure not much thought went into it considering how quickly she was knocked up) to have a son and he had to grow up in such a horrible environment. it's no wonder that he's a drunk too.

I liked the dynamic between them and the subtle but eventually seismic shift that took place when she came into her own.
Definitely understand where you're coming from regarding the art. Unlike myself, (i happen to like their stuff) my friends thought both of them were complete rubbish-

The strings that tether long standing couples together for eons always interest me.

People need to study before giving opinions also.

They are flawed people, I'm guessing you're perfect. I think they both have talent. Not that I'd buy their art. Not sure why you mentioned waiting tables as a real job...should I assume you do or have?

reply

that's nice that you think they have talent. most other people, myself included, don't. if you like his "art" so much, then buy some of it, i am sure he will sell you some of his junk and it won't be very expensive.

apparently it is news to you that many struggling artists/actors/singers/dancers in NYC wait on tables to pay bills. evidently it is beneath these 2 to do so so they live in squalor and complain about not having any money.

it's beyond shocking that this tripe was nominated for an oscar. i wonder who was paid off for that.

You need to calm down a bit or you might give yourself a hernia.

mag900, all I can say to you is, grow up. joey-tribbiani said it much better than I did and with more grace. It's kind of staggering that all you were able to get out of the movie was that one of the artists was a drunk and the couple had trouble paying bills. Don't assume that because YOU don't understand something, there's nothing to it. That's a good way to have a lame life.

reply

No, unfortunately, time cannot be returned. Thank you for your inquiry anyways and let us know if you have any other questions.

the art was definitely crap hers was ok his was crap.

Firstly it wasn't a complete waste of time but I can answer the questions later. You're a bit confused, maybe because you're young but I'll do my best to help you out here so these films for adults won't frustrate you in future.

They never complained about nobody paying for them. They did make money from the art. That was obvious.

Nothing was said about welfare but if they were taking money from the welfare system, why is that a bad thing? So you can wonder a lot but whether they did or didn't they are human beings and entitled to help. They are offering to the economy. You are on a film site that is filled with millions of people working for very little to make the films in the industry that you enjoy. Even they have to be on welfare as well. There are millions of underpaid people in life who contribute to the economy that have to be on welfare as well. So you shouldn't judge them on that even though you have no proof about it as well.

If this is a race issue, on a ratio the indigenous people of a country take out more on welfare than immigrants. Also, the indigenous people don't train themselves or even enterprise to deal with this. It's nto a race issue either so I don't think it is a welfare issue even if we found it. Their paintings and art was circulating objects to the value of thousands in the economy.

As for being a drunk that was part of the problem as well. We could also illustrate then that you are implying that people with problems should be eradicated from society. Where do you want to start and where do you want to stop?

There is inequality against people with addiction and disabilities around the world. Who do you think is appropriate and who is not to gain help from community and life and other people?

Ultimately, I think your stance against humans is the problem here. As I began with this post, I understand you are young and trying to understand the world. When I was in my early teens, I had questions as well but I read books and understood the world. Reading about politics and economcs will also help you. Don't worry, you can grow up to be somebody who can relate to the world and benefit from quality documentaries about society like this. For instance if you did study something and research it then you'll have discovered they've always sold things. Maybe not a lot but they have.

All the best in reading and growing up.

Sorry, mag900, but you haven't got the faintest idea what you're talking about.
