Haha wow, I would never have made that connection in a million years, but yeah, I see it.

You heart me? What is that? Is that like I love you for pussies?

The first time they showed her bare feet, and she was wiggling her toes, I immediately thought of Tangled. And there were quite a few similarities throughout the movie. Not just with Ms. Wood's part. SS and Flynn Ryder also kind of pick up a stray girl, they both have a short beard and end up falling for the girl.
Cute movie. I enjoyed it.

Great post! The long blond hair-the child-like (innocent and naive) qualities and a cute guy in trouble who gets her out into the world and away from a crazy sheltered existence. If only there was a horse with attitude, lol.

Interesting ... but somehow strange: "Barefoot" was written before 2005 (the first version, "Barfuss", was released that year), and "Tangled" came out in 2010 ...

Your absolutely right.Coincidence???

reply

Rapunzel was first written in 1790.. :)

reply

Haven't seen Tangled but there were similarities to an older disney love story called Anastasia.

reply

Crap. You're totally right. They are about the same story. I didn't make the connection. No wonder I liked this movie so much.
