He says his photos show the real thing....well yes and no...
I'm sure if he were around and able to shoot ww2 the same level of carnage and more would exist, but what is the message and purpose, he seems to deny there is always an agenda.
shareThere's an agenda in everything in life. The whole world's a stage. No matter how grim that may be.
But the main point one is left after this film, is imagine if these people were not there to photograph. What would we have then. No doubt it would mean zero visual version of the truth about each situation unfolding.
Catch 22. You either shoot the events or you don't. If you want the wider public to see what's happening, then you do your job, and do so as best you can.
