Doesn't take it self serious and pretty good cgi

OMG, I was thinking the SAME thing...the SFX for the croc were really good and way better then all those mutant animal flicks Asylum/SyFy churns out in droves.

I think maybe american thought this is just a cheap movie like SyFy, but its quite a big budget for China. American can beat them in monster movie but not for KUNG FU!

I agree, it's much better than the usual syfy gator/croc monster fare.
I actually enjoyed it. It was a fun little film.

I thought it took itself very seriously and that's why I liked it.
