More of a Fight for the Marriage

I would have liked to have seen Becca fight for more intimacy with Marcus.

She said something germane in the homecoming scene in the bathroom where he's bandaging her wound: that he fell for her courage ~ It's not like he married a mouse and she transformed into a tiger!

It was his growing fear, compounded by the daughters', re: her safety that changed the game.

Soooo sad that his change of heart deprived Becca of the intimacy required to immediately, and rawly, share her guilt re: the urban explosion she caused with her careless, and unnecessary, extra photos taken outside the car. A harrowing job requires a port-in-a-storm for ballast.

Could you elaborate on this...It sounds as if he didn't want to hear her story.

What I'm saying is that if he respected and supported her work, instead of having come to fear & discourage it, then she could have a loving mate to talk to about her problems. She messed up and it had lethal consequences. But she has to stuff her personal grief because, rather than sympathizing, her husband would just use any doubts or confessions on her part to re-enforce his argument that she must quit.

This spilled over into the daughter's life when she experienced a harrowing outbreak of violence in Africa and was duly traumatized, but felt she had to hide it from her father's judgments.

Thanks for the info, I just watch the film before your reply but just as the daughter finished her tribute the video stopped and wouldn't continue. Could you spoil me on what happened after that, how did it end.
