In the end Rebecca's harsh reality is devastating

I really liked this film and the central performances. The final sequences where the adolescent girl prepares for her perception of destiny and how it mirrors Steph's interest in her mother's destiny was just devastating. Suddenly all of Marcus's fears made sense and were multiplied for Rebecca.

An ambiguous and thoughtful film.
