What an amazing movie!

Finally a movie about the struggles within a marriage other than infidelity! And further, the struggle between your calling, your passion, and your responsibility to your family.

Yes ~ an adult movie. Somewhat similar to another Binoche piece (although that edged on infidelity): THE WIDOW OF ST. PIERRE. I left the theatre feeling the same sense of all-too-rare satisfaction.

I also liked this very much, but Three Colors: Blue is my favourite Binoche performance. Just fabulous.

I quite liked it too. Mature script, dreamy Terrence Malik-like cinematography, Lauryn Canny's excellent performance and the clever the parallels: suicide bomber in the grave and Steph's drawing of her asleep; the eyeliner put on the bomber and then her trying to put on mascara just before leaving the hospital; the cameras and camera bags hanging around her waist and the bomber belts. Plus Binoche carried real pro Canon cameras with pro, Canon "L" lenses.
