Horrible mother ... spoliers

Horrible mother, spoiled child, self centered friends fueled by drugs and alcohol. Who wrote this rubbish it feels like a movie either written by a pos or someone who has never had any contact with "normal" people. All the mother wanted to do was use drugs, get drunk, and get everyone naked while the world was crumbling. I guess the father was suppose to be the moral compass which was made evident when the first thing they do with the group of people is smoke pot with their 5 yr old child in the room "great parents". Could they have written a more unlikable bunch.

This is the type of *beep* studio exes love they always like crossing genres. I can almost hear the pitch right now "think The Big Chill but at the end of the world."

Glad I saw this for free on NetFlix.

That's funny because I was just telling my wife this feels more like the Big Chill than an end of the world drama. Honestly, I have a hard time believing anyone would really be that caught up in the childish relationship drama portrayed here when the outside world is crumbling.

Eh, tbh they acted pretty much how all my friends parents acted when I was growing up. With the exception that it wasn't just the moms, but the dads too. Fortunately my parents were the moral compass which meant I didn't have to deal with that crap, but it also meant my friends virtually lived at my house cause they never wanted to be home.

In fact, it seemed so normal I didn't even notice it about the film until this thread.

Calm down everybody. Let's get drunk, smoke some pot, and skinny dip in the hot tub. Perhaps later we can compare pubic hair and have sex with somebody else's spouse.
