This is one of the most intellectually bankrupt films I've ever seen. Nothing about it rings true, and the fact that people take it seriously is an insult to good meta-movies (a genre of which, I'm quite fond of).

Franco is good as a movie actor in certain roles, but I don't know if I ever want to see something he directed again. You know you're terrible when Seth Rogen is a better filmmaker than you...

This was a lot of fun. I don't think I've ever seen a film that speaks about these issues in the same way that I would speak about these things with my friends. Nice to FINALLY see that.

It sounds fine with friends because it's just conversation, but it's not worth putting on film (digital or otherwise) like it was here. It needs to be expressed with wit, talent. This film is nothing more than a conversation... a set of conversations. And it builds to nowhere. I'd have to be high to enjoy this, really.
