The kid (spoilers)

Despite the ridiculousness of some of the last portion of this movie, Park Min-Ha (the kid) broke my heart when she was screaming 'Please don't shoot my mommy.' She's quite a little actress who created a real character from start to finish.

I thought it was a pretty good action movie; I think they succeeded in making a great patriotic South Korean film. I can only guess that this was highly successful there.

I completely agree about the little girl. From the beginning, I thought she did a stellar job... She wasn't wooden or over-the-top. Her pleas toward the end of the film easily tugged on my heart strings. She is just adorable and if she keeps it up, I see great things for her in her future acting career. :-)

That scene took my breath away. For those calling it "unrealistic" & "far fetched", Google Tiananmen Square.

No kidding.

She was great - and on the strength of her performance, Mirre becomes the heart of the film. Without her, the audience wouldn't care. But she captures us right away and never lets go. Great in every scene.

I agree, she did a fantastic job in her part.

That sequence was honestly epic and emotional.

She was the heart and soul of the movie.
