Lutin's Odd Accent At times....

Was i alone in hearing him try and sound Jamaican in some words??

reply

His accent was based on the french cajon that live down there.

reply

Pretty sure the French Cajon didn't sound Jamaican though...

Cajun.

His accent changed depending on who he was speaking to.
He sounded more cajin when talking to Jesse.
He sounded more South Carolinan when talking to Morris...

I remember on trips to Jamaicia the people there would speak a patois or dialect to each other. But if a guest at the hotel asked a question they would switch to standard English to answer you.

PS there is an area in New Orleans called the Irish Channel, The people are descended from Irish immigrants who dug the canals, etc. They still sound like they are are from South Boston or a member of the Kennedy family. The crime boss referred to Willem Dafoe as that bastard Irishman Baton Rouge detective.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else
