Show was crap but...

His impressions are fantastic but the plot, characters and show itself are pretty *beep* :/

I thought that many of his impersonations were appalling - James Earl Jones and Ronnie Corbett in particular.

Show was OK. Neil Maskell was the best thing about it.

Looks bobbins.

I liked the show and I liked him. I couldn't judge about half of his impressions because I'm American and not familiar with with many British personalities (for example, I knew James Earl Jones but not Ronnie Corbett), but even if the impressions weren't "perfect" it was what he said and did that was hilarious. Is there anyone who is Irish on these boards who could say whether he could pass as Irish in that pub? I'm guessing he could have. I also bet that he could have conned that woman into thinking he was Christopher Walken - because there are people who are naive and starstruck enough to believe what they want to believe. It's been a few months since I watched it, so I can't remember all of the specifics but I recall laughing out loud. It also succeeded on an emotional level. I was shocked and disappointed when it ended so quickly (I didn't realize there would be so few episodes).

Neil Maskell was brilliant. I had just watched him in Utopia. What a talent!

Was it renewed? I hope so!

I too thought the 'plot' was mainly just a bit of background noise as his impressions were the highlight of it. That he could fool people with his voices made for some good scenes/situations.

You don't choose the soy sauce, the soy sauce chooses you.

Totally disagree. I loved the show. Best British comedy for quite some time.

I've been a fool but you know I wouldn't kill for you...

Agreed Neil is the best thing about this, great to see him doing comedy and so well. Many of the impressions are *beep*
