I hope it's a strong Christian film

Praying this wins people to Christ

You must respect other's beliefs. If you ran around town talking about your invisible friend Henry and how he was going to take you to wonderland if you believed in him, they would respect you? They would... wouldn't they?

I've been pretty critical of the most of the cinematic Christian movies released as I felt they have done more to enforce negative stereotypes then supporting a positive message. I have to say though I thought Grace Unplugged was pretty good, had a pretty positive message, and wasn't horribly preachy.

As far as bringing people to Christ though I honestly don't see it being very effective. The movie comes on to strong and uses Christian platitudes that connects well with most Christians and makes Christians feel good, but using such language that non-Christians aren't fully familiar with tend to isolate potential converts.

While I think this movie is more on the right track then say "facing the Giants" or "Courageous" if these movies' goals are to speak to the general audience more then it is to make Christians feel good about themselves, these movies need to tone back on the pretentiousness and present entertaining movies with positive messages in verbiage that the general public can relate to; and while over all I think Grace was a good movie it fell significantly short of that goal.

Just saw this film for the first time yesterday. I could see this being used as a tool by a ministry towards winning them to Christ, however I don't see this being the case as a stand-alone presentation.

Even for those who do not share the Christian faith, the film still shares some values that humanity as a whole needs to understand. Such as being careful who you trust when you are following a dream. (I would elaborate but I prefer not giving too much away... go see it!)
