Felt like one big opening scene.

I don't know if I was expecting something different or it was the movie itself but it felt like I watch a 90 minute opening scene to a movie I never got to watch.

I was watching it and I thought, man, this is a long opening scene, when does the movie start? I thought this was supposed to be about a woman moving into a country home and getting attacked by strangers with masks. Thats what I thought the description was on netflix. Paused the movie to see how long i'd watched and the movie was more than half over... Guess this is the movie.

I seriously thought this was setting up how her husband died, she survived and moved to get away from things and start new only to find that her attackers have followed her. Something along those lines.

Same boat as you. When I realised "that was the film" I gave up. Not even sure how far I made it through... just after the bit where the killer is suffocating her? I dunno. This film seemed clichéd from the start with zero effort to build the characters. Writers should all be lynched for this one. How it gets almost 5 stars is beyond me

Welp. Back to Twilight Zone - at least Rod knows how to write a fkn horror!
