Give me my hour and a half back. This movie was the worst of it's genre.

"The Strangers" with Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman, still stands the test of time as the BEST and scariest/creepiest most inventive, clever, well-written and acted, home invasion movie. "Funny Games" comes in a close second.

Ya know what I like a lot about Strangers too? The fact that I am actually rooting for them because they don't do anything THAT retarded the entire time. They actually do smarter things you would expect from people in that horrible and hopeless of a situation.

Movies like these, where literally the whole time I am saying under my breath "You're a effing idiot, what are you doing??" It just makes it less enjoyable. I don't like completely retarded victims, sorry. Just makes it hard to root for them after awhile. Also had no interest in the villain because the whole "Dirty cop with no motive" thing is TIRED. Lazy writers.
