I wanted to like this, but had to turn it off.

As that reviewer wrote, this IS a hatchet job, but I'm sure a deserved one.

This film starts off O.K., but after about 10 minutes it tries to mutate into "Roger and Me", with people all over the country knocking on doors trying to get an interview with the brothers.

I found the information on all the Koch-brother-funded public policy organizations interesting, as well as the people in government who seem to be tied to the Kochs or in their pockets.

We GET the idea that they are rich- we don't need to see all the expensive properties they own around the world- stick to exposing the connections and the influence they exert. The show lost me when they showed a couple of well-off looking Florida retirees having dinner on the beach in front of a Kock mansion- commenting on why such a huge home was necessary. At that point I turned it off.

You're forgetting one thing- I just started using laser cats again!

I think a large portion of the audience they were aiming for is people who have never heard of the Koch brothers. Thus, they did need to impress upon the viewer the large amount of money the Koch brothers have at their disposal. I'm skimming the movie as I type this, so I don't really see why that alone would be a reason to turn it off. They don't spend that much time on showing how much money they have.

Excellent point.

The Koch brothers are nothing compared to the Rockefellers or Rothschilds. Who funded this 'documentary'?

reply

George Soros and The Empire.

Three More Years! Rand Paul 2016! $17 trillion!

Dude - quit embarrassing yourself. At least do some research on what Soros spends his money on before making these crazy comments. He is NOTHING like the Koch brothers.

Looks like Soros had diversified his portefolio recently.

But I guess it'll be a while before a filmaker do a documentary titled "George Soros, Exposed", lol.
