Who else thinks this movie is a comedy?

My brother and I a few times laughed because of some lines and funny parts. I'm surprised this is not listed as a comedy on IMDb. As a Dark Universe movie, it feels a bit "so bad, it's good" movie.

I mostly shook my head more than I laughed at how bad the whole thing was but yeah I can see this is being a so bad it's kind funny type movie.

At least parts of it were clearly meant to be deliberately funny, whether IMDb listed it that way or not. It doesn't seem to have been intended as a "horror" movie in the typical sense, but rather a comedy/adventure type movie.

The thing with 'it's so bad, it's good' films - you need to be high on something to really enjoy them and get that 'bad=good' vibe going. When you are sober, bad is just plain bad - there's no way around it.

I laughed out loud a few times. I don't think it was a comedy overall but it was definitely more light-hearted than I expected.
