It was entertaining enough....

I liked it, thought it was a fun movie. Shouldn't be taken too seriously of course.

I heard the ancient Egypt parts and monsters were surprisingly good. It still lacked the old monster flick charm. I had hopes for it.

That's how I felt about the Brendan Fraser ones at first. I hated them for not being like classic horror, but after a while I grew to like them for what they were, just fun little adventure films.

No surprise, studios are seriously considering doing away with press screenings because of Rotten Tomatoes.

I don't blame them.
