How accurate..

..is it? Enjoyed it just interested

...I found it to be generally accurate from what I know of the assassination. I can't speak to the accuracy of the dialogue, or some of the more detailed nuances, but the general chronology of events look to be true.

Everything seemed to be as true as possible, outside the actual dialog. The only item that causes me to wonder concerns the FBI agent, and the documents that he burned. I'd never heard about that, but assume that it's based on fact.

As I understand it, the Secret Service wanted AIR FORCE ONE to leave immediately after placing the Coffin in the back of the plane because they felt the Dallas PD or the Texas Rangers would stop the plane from taking off because, legally, it was their case, and not the feds. LBJ would not let them take off until he got sworn in, and it took quite awhile for the judge he wanted to show up. In the movie, they made it seem like it took off minutes after they got on, but in reality it was over half an hour.
