The 12 year old was the WORST

This "documentary" was clearly a vanity project for the 12 year old to spout her pseudo-intellectual garbage. Most kids her age think they have life figured out. But in her case, she has parents who are hipsters that try and be her friend instead of her guardian.

The most telling part was when the girl told her dad she gave a blow job to the cab driver. At first it bothered me that her dad reacted so nonchalantly. But what ultimately disturbed me most was wondering what kind of household culture she lives in that would make her think that was appropriate to say something that vile to her father. Their attempt at a defense, no doubt, would be "Lady Gaga...Facebook...cell phones", which is a cop out.

And the whole "just because I dress like a ho and flitter around like a ho, it doesn't make me a ho" was such technicality BS it's no wonder her mom is a defense attorney. The mom's "sexuality is empowering" justification is crap. If my defense attorney showed up to court in fish net stockings to do my final arguments, she would be FIRED!!!

God, couldn't agree more. She was a pretentious brat. I couldn't stand it when she was spouting that pseudo-intellectual garbage, and the more "enlightening" she thought she was being, the deeper her voice got.

Man I couldn't stand her. Her parents are total arses as well. Big surprise.

You both make valid points. Her behavior and personality made me cringe. I am pretty much certain I don't ever want to have a daughter. If this girls parents haven't decided to take her to have her tubes tied, she is probably going to end up (if she is not or has not already been) pregnant before she can legally drive. I don't know if all of that is as bad as some of the pedophiles on here are saying she is hot.

WTF !?

And it's all happening under the parents roof, right before their eyes. And they don't seem to give a s**t!! I guess they have the convoluted logic that what the hell she is going to do all this anyways, why not let her do it all under our roof. And you think that seeing the African-American kid run up to the car after she came back from a field trip (looking like she came back from a strip club) and say "you are the star" would make them wise up a bit.

Either way this is why I say all of society is doomed.

You don't want to have a daughter because of her? What you have to realize is this has nothing to do with females or girls or teenage girls or women etc etc. it has to do with bad parenting, a bad environment, mixed with a very distasteful culture. Above all else, is bad parenting. I am sure your daughter will be a wonderful woman.

This is aimed at the dad of the 13yr old girl, it was his job as a dad to explain to her why it is not ok to dress like that at such a young age and to not say most og the too grown up things she said to him too. I've been shopping with 12 & 13 yr olds for formal dresses before and the dresses they were wanting were totally inappropriate for children their age. I explained to both of them that they could not have the revealing dresses because they were little girls and those dresses were too grown up and that they were not old enough to wear dresses like that. Yeah they complained and they were all huffy about it but I wasn't budging. Same with the shoes! All the shoes they were trying on were too grown up and they all looked like stripper heels and of course they wanted those ones and NOPE they didn't get them. I bought them shoes that had a 3in heel and under. No sky high stripper shoes for them. You should have seen them walking in the 4in and up heels! They couldn't! It was hilarious because they were trying so hard to walk normal and they couldn't. I said, "See you can't even walk in them." They were trying so hard to prove that they could. Then I said, "I hope you had fun playing dress up," and we were out of the store with the clothes I wanted them to have not what they wanted. It's not hard to tell kids no you just do it and move on.

Thank you! That girl was so annoying. Annoying to the point of grating. The way she spoke to her father? She should have had her face smacked. But, of course, there is none of that! Oh, no! Just the constant ego stroking permissiveness that ensures the kid will grow up to be a horrible human being. And, this girl is well on her way.

Winnifred seemed like a basically nice kid... just no boundaries set by her lazy parents and really bad influences for friends. That girl Olivia- wow. I hope her parents are REALLY humiliated after watching this.

It doesn't help that the dad is telling his kids that looks don't matter and than turns around and let's his 13 year old daughter wear fishnets and dresses that barely come below the butt. It DOES in fact matter what you look like, especially when you look like a 12 year old homeless prostitute.

When she first came out, I thought she was going to be very opposed to all things sex and kind of be the voice of reason, but nope.

And the mom sitting there saying Lady Gaga is independent and aware of her own sexuality, yet says other "artists" degrade women and then the cut scenes of what they showed were the exact same thing only instead of a woman it was men that "degraded" the women. The mom also read the quote from the book about not needing a man and blah blah.

Yet there she is wearing bras the wrong way to hoist up what she doesn't have, wearing dresses that barely cover her butt, going around BY HERSELF, and talking about how she needs a guy to hook up with.

She "gets nostalgic" and thinks about when she was "younger" and how different she was. No. This is a little girl that doesn't have her parents care enough to remind her that she is only 13 and isn't actually an adult. Even with her mom next to her while she on the computer, the mom ignores the fact that this 13 year old kid is reblogging naked people, people having sex, and other wildly inappropriate things.

How many STDs do you think she's been treated for by now?

Sexuality can be empowering--as long as it is a person's choice. Winnifred was obviously intelligent and in my personal opinion her parents would have done right to let her know they were there for her if consequences for her sexual expression got too out of control and also remind her what those consequences might be.

Telling her how she should dress because of some sense of prudery is, in fact, claiming her choices and body as their own and is anti-feminism in itself. At the very least, the discussion could have been centered more around age and less around what behavior is "good" and "bad." We're not living in colonial times here.

God I hate when retards like you spout garbage like that. Yeah, telling a 12 year old girl not to dress provocatively is being a prude. Jesus Christ.
