Did I follow this right... on the Diamond ring.... $6000 Loan... 5 months... they waived the Interest... "...which comes to around $5000" WTF !!!!!!!!

Whats the APR 1000% ????

Statewide Illinois pawn interest rates are set at 20% per month maximum. So on a $6,000 loan the interest is $1,200 per month. Multiply that by five months and it comes to $6,000 in interest.

Try pawn shops on NV. There are no usury laws there and most shops charge 400-500% APR. Outrageous.
