I'm confused about the kids with Sally(the lawyer friend). Were they her kids? They called her Sally. Were they younger siblings? Was she their aunt? Unless I missed something, it wasn't explained very well in the movie. I don't remember any mention of her beign married or divorced either.
shareI just saw this movie today! I assumed they were her kids--I didn't notice them calling her Sally though, I must've missed that. I was a bit confused too because of their ages. Since this took place 7 years after college, I'm assuming the characters are about 29-30 years old. The older kid looked about 9 or 10 though, meaning Sally would've been in college when she had him. Of course that's possible, but you think that would've been mentioned in the opening when it showed them all talking after graduation. Not a huge deal, but that made me wonder if they were hers, but I just kindof brushed it off and assumed they were.
shareI was wondering the same thing and its very confusing since in some scenes she's not wearing a wedding ring and in others she is. I freeze framed the movie when they were running in the park and just as she brought a bottled water up to her mouth its clear that she's wearing both and engagement and wedding ring. So one could probably safely assume the kids were hers.
