Crossover!
Based on the behind the scenes clip of the new season, it looks like they're doing a crossover episode with the original U.K. version of the show.
shareI watched this episode today. Dr Pippa's character was spot on, it was fun to see her again. Unfortunately, Den was re-written as an over-the-top caricature of her old character. It was like watching a spoof on a comedy skit show. I felt bad for Joanna Scanlon. She is an excellent actress, but the material she was given in this ep was cringe worthy.
It's too bad, because having Den interact with Dawn was meant to be entertaining for all fans of Getting On- whether they are familiar with both the BBC and HBO versions or just one.
