Don't watch season 3.

After Season 2 I felt like there was a gigantic shift in atmosphere. It no longer felt warm and welcoming. Mind you, the whole series is serious and rude with lots of vulgarity, but it was funny and somehow not too much. In the last season, however, it had no redeemable qualities. Honestly, I wish I hadn't watched it, because it left a sour taste in my mouth and I shan't be rewatching any of the seasons.

A few points as to why Season 3 was just really uncomfortable and ridiculous:
- Projectile poop shooting on people.
- Lots of anal probing and other freakishly disturbing scenes.
- Someone gets a very long tube inserted into her nose into her lunges and it's abruptly pulled out all the way accidentally.
- Sex addict getting a blow job from a random nurse.
- JJ attempting to give a hand job to the sex addict.
- Old Lady strangling her daughter.
etc.

IDK, it just got too extreme for me, and there was no warmth anymore to balance it out. Basically every character including Didi became a total bitch.

If you're reading this and the scenes described above don't suit you, PLEASE stop after Season 2. You will leave with fond memories of the series. I ended up deleting the whole series so I don't have to think about it again.

I tend to agree. I recently discovered the show because of Laurie Metcalfe's emmy nom, and I really enjoyed it. It's clever and hilarious, and Laurie Metcalfe is always gold, (Niecy and Alex are wonderful too) but I felt season three lost the charm the first two seasons had. It's still a great show, and I LOVE how they skewer the politically correct bureaucratic nonsense, so I'm really hoping there's a season 4 and that it will be more like seasons 1 & 2.

This is a faithful saying...Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

There will be no Season Four, sorry.

I agree somewhat, but for me, season 3 still had a ton for hilarious and heartfelt moments that make it worth watching.

I think season 3 is really good. Lots of good plotlines, and guest stars. We meet Didi's family, Varla comes back, Miss Bertie's oranges.

I didn't feel the mood shift. I thought it was right in line with the previous seasons, and I'm sad there is no season 4.
