Children's 'illness'

Any incite into what was actually wrong with the children? I initially thought it was some form of shared hysteria, until two children indoctrinated others into the murderous spree.

Dangers of none Vulcans using the Death Grip perhaps?

I would also really like to know this!

The father who lost his wife, said that all the kids were sick, and when they awoke they went on a killing spree. He think it was the sickness.

I thought it was an invasion of some kind because it seemed like the children were able to control the "illness". I thought the use of children was a very effective tactic not a side effect because Francis seemed to be the first adult to fight back.

it would have to be more than a sickness. the reason Beth's child died inside her was because one of the crazy children touched her stomach. So the children had some sort of other wordly kind of thing going on that made them evil and possessed to kill, and obviously when they touched other children it made them kill. like the girl who called for her father they were talking to, she was crying and said "come with me to find mom and grandma" she led him into being murdered. its being the kids probably touched her, and she was then posessed into wanting to kill. why else would she lead her dad into a situation of being killed?

She was already possessed before coming to her dad I think
