The Lizzie Borden house

How disgusting that tourists can "reenact" the murders. Disrespectful.

Don't eva let nobody tell you you ain't strong enough

Now that is just what I thought and keep thinking every time I hear about it. It's bad enough it happened in real life, people suffered unbelievably, and that's nothing to mock.

But people reenact things all the time. As a Civil War Reenactor I can understand. Trust my more people died in the war then in that house. So I don't see anything wrong with it.

reply

Any War re-enactors I know are respectful of the history, this doesn't seem respectful to me.

The photos of the murdered bodies are exhibited in the house. I find the whole thing distasteful, including the fact that the owner of the bed and breakfast is on every single paranormal show that's on tv right now. Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, The Dead Files all investigated there.

Have you seen the episode of Ghost Adventures of the house? It is sad and sick how the house host just laughs about the axe and the murders. Everythings on display and its disgusting!

reply

What got a chuckle out of me was how the subject lady called Lizzie Borden "one of the first female serial killers " lol . Uh, she only allegedly killed 2 people and she knew them (her parents) . It's not like she was going around chopping up random strangers .
