Really love this show
I think it's really funny. Robert Sheehan is really great in it.

I liked Robert Sheehan the most but felt there wasn't enough of him in it. There were far too many scenes with Neil Morrissey.
It felt like things were just getting interesting when the series ended. I doubt there will be a second series so it's a bit of a shame that they wasted so much time on the uninteresting stuff between Jason/Inca , Gemma/Jason, Gemma/Tom and not enough on Gemma/Billy.
I'm not saying it should have been all about Gemma/Billy but I think the series would've been better if that relationship had taken precedence.
Just finished watching the series. Loved it! Wished it didn't get cancelled and we could've seen more development of the characters and relationships.
shareYet, Gemma and Billy were the draw of the show. The only reason I tuned in to see this was Robert Sheehan although I remember Sarah on Coupling when it was on. I see why they cancelled it even though it had potential and could of made a go of at least one more season. The acting was decent with Sheehan and Alexander doing a good job. Actually, I felt they needed to concentrate on Gemma more than anything. I will say Jason and even Tom got old for me even after 3 episodes. I wanted Gemma to tell Jason, Tom, and her son off. Her son, sorry I cannot remember his name right now, was absolutely annoying to me and Jason was ridiculous. I liked Inca better than these two because at least she was fighting for what she wanted even if it was for Jason. My favorite character was Billy and I am not sure what more they could of done with but, make him Gemma's boyfriend and then I have wonder where they would have went after that. Overall, I really thought the show was adorable and had some funny moments. Favorite scene was Billy's ''proposal'' scene. Absolutely, charming and lovely. I will say, one thing I absolutely dislike is not having closure. I do not like when writers do not give a show a proper ending and they did not do it with this at all. Cancelled or not we should have known who she chose in the end. The audience always wants an HEA.
