Anthony Lucero as an up and coming director - any thoughts?

Lucero is probably one of the best effects editors working today - his resumé is beyond impressive. We loved East Side Sushi because it wasn't anything like the films he normally works on - Lucero directs with real confidence and it reminded me a lot of Boden/Fleck - any thoughts?
