Good Eye Test

Seriously, whoever made this films needs a better understanding of how to light people on film. I'm 30 minutes in watching it on tv and so Danny dark I'm actually squinting trying to make shapes out. I've watched goth horror before and they were great as characters etc were lit up on screen . Budget must have been REALLY low for this just filming by candlight. Yes,yes, I know that was what it was like back then but if you're making a film you should at least light what's on the screen so people aren't struggling to make out who's talking. I've got blinds/curtains closed trying to watch this and my teenage daughter is struggling too.Hideous!! I'm hoping it changes soon or I'm phoning up TV people who have it on BO for a refund as its practically unwatchable so far. If woman in black appears I won't be able to bloody see her !

Thank you! I thought a visit to Specsavers was in order shortly after I started watching. As I couldn't see what was going on a lot of the time I found it hard to understand the story. Very disappointed as this is the type of horror movie I love.

Well it did have a budget of just 1 million. What do you want for the equivalent price of a 1 bedroom flat in London ?

If that was the case, they should have had more of the scenes during the daytime. What's the point in filming completely black scene? This is a movie, not a radio show.

Looked fine to me. Adjust your TV?
