Processing...

Watching this movie is analogous to the psychedelic experience. A lot happens in an objectively short time which simply cannot be concurrently processed to anything approaching its full psychological and spiritual value and potential, which is effectively infinite.

Like tripping on psychedelics, you can get a lot more out of films like this through repeated viewings and taking the time to process the experience. Admittedly, this is not a cup of tea the average film fan has any interest in consuming. A pity.

This is not some silly jumbled hack job. It is a finely crafted work of art and intellect and deserves to be savored like the rare and wondrous things in life which can only be appreciated through such peculiarities as magic mushrooms and the like.

It may not be mere coincidence that John Petti, credited in his IMDb filmography as assistant production coordinator and camera dept. dmt for Bottom of the World, is listed in the film's closing crew credits as simply "DMT".
