I don't think the tongue in cheek pun you're inferring is in keeping with the serious tone of the film. So I'm still leaning more towards FAIL than FUN.

Inch'Allah is the French transcription of the Arabic term. Insha'Allah is the English transcription.

The film is from Quebec and its original language is French - thus the French title.

I did not know. I always thought Arabic (as a language) was Arabic. I didn't know there was such a thing as French Arabic. But now I know.

I suppose it makes sense, what with American English and proper English.

Anyway, thanks for enlightening me.

lol, does that mean that you think that Insha'Allah is the Arabic, i.e. the true way of spelling the phrase? :D

or that French spoken in Canada is actually somehow American English (because Canada is in America)?

I mean, a whole lot of wtf and no sense in your post

simple explanation: in order for the English speaking people to know how to read the word they spell it Insha'Allah. The French spell it with 'ch' because then they read it just like 'sh' is read in English. Other languages apply their own spelling.

many french speaking countries in Africa for ex. Chad also say Inch'Allah
