It's not good, it's not bad
The actors are all likable.
The Story line is decent, and anytime it's on TV you just watch it.
Nothing to hate.

It's in the background while I work.

Guilty pleasure nothing. This was Emmerich's best movie in years since The Patriot. I think the only real issue is that it isn't rated R.

I recently saw "Dog Day Afternoon" was listed as an "action" film. Show me a director the caliber of Sidney Lumet and an actor equal to Al Pacino in an action film and I might be interested.
