That ending was stunning, Cate nailed it. One of the best endings I've seen in a movie... but, for a moment, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to laugh or cry. lol...

Just saw this for the first time and wow, I think it's one of Woody Allen's best films. Although, typical of a WA film, with breakups and infidelity as the center theme of the movie, this worked pretty damn well with such an underdog cast. I saw the lineup of everyone in it and I was thinking no way this is going to be good but I said what the hell, I'll give it a try. haha...

But it's quite good and damn, that ending, goodness me...... .anyhow... I'll give it a 7.5 out of 10. It definitely reminds me of that movie Manchester By The Sea with all the flashbacks and then going to real time over and over. I usually don't care for movies like this but it worked really well in Blue Jasmine. Again, one of Woody's best but I will always consider Manhattan to be his best movie.
