Isn't it strange that both the son and Jasmine both moved to San Frisco?

So they both independently moved from one side of the country to the other, the son hated his step mother but still ended up running to the same place that she went to? What are the chances?

Sorry, I meant "San Francisco"

When she demands Dwight let her out of the car we assume she's in Oakland because she shows up at Danny's shop in the next scene. Still, there's no way jasmine could have walked from Oakland back to back to San Francisco.

Cate did a AWESOME job with her acting but the writing was AWFUL.

Hello! I live in San Francisco, right by where Jasmine got out of the car, and the location is in the Marina area, very close to the Golden Gate Bridge. Oakland is across the Bay Bridge over 30 miles away and would have been about a $60-$70 cab ride.

Just kidding but really, who cares about these technicalities.

What a strange comment from the person who lists BART stations and their proximity to Ginger's apartment. Pot, meet kettle. The other poster is 100% correct. Jasmine was dumped in the Marina Districi about as far away from the Bay Bridge as you can get in San Francisco. The two of them had been in Marin County and crossed the Golden Gate Bridge.

...what toppings were on the pizza that Ginger and Chili were eating...
Pepperoni & cheese.

Um. . .

Just saw the movie, and I know this is 5 years later, but: either you don't really live in the Marina, or your sense of geography is AWFUL. For one thing, SF is only 7 miles across. . .for another, who on earth would take a cab? BART goes right to Oakland, for about $3. Less, five years ago. Whatev.

I thought the same thing. One of the only things about this movie that seemed a bit far-fetched. That "brother-in-law" (for lack of a better term) crossing paths with them whilst they were wedding ring shopping and airing all of Jasmine's dirty laundry also was a bit of a stretch. Her new hubby could've discovered her lies via some more realistic way IMO.
