What's weird about the men who bash on Amy Schumer is they don't seem to get riled up about someone like Will Farrell or Zach Galifianakis hardly being a dreamboat, or having some amazing body.
Historically, men will love comics like Chris Farley, John Belushi and Rodney Dangerfield, who were all fat pigs, but let Amy Schumer dare to be an iota less than modelesque, and she's some monster.

George Carlin and Jackie Gleason could have me rolling on the floor. I used to watc honeymooners on tvland when i was little. If i watch George Carlin (b4 he became an angry old man the last couple years of his life) i cannot stop laughing. Also i think Louis Black is hilarious but i cannot stand Louis C. K - Yuk. Yea there are loads of funny women but ones that are meant to be funny as a profession there are very few in my personal opinion.

Yes, i know she reminds me of me. I love her. Yes i know what you mean. I could not imagine being forced to be funny; that wouldn't be fun at all. Maybe that's why. Maybe they put themselves in a situation where they always Have to be funny and that sucks. I find that a lot of comedians seem to have mental health issues like Janine garafalo and jim carey. I don't think it's healthy to do that work unless you truly love it.
Jackie Gleason seemed to truly love what he did. I read a biopic on Bob Hope and he is another person who truly loved making people smile. That's so nice.

Sorry, but if you're going to consistently flaunt an overweight body in very tight and revealing clothing, you can't really be all that offended when people point out the obvious: it doesn't look very good. When Will or Zach go shirtless in a movie scene, it's part of the joke because obviously they don't have the physique for it.
All that said, I think Amy Schumer is pretty funny and isn't ugly or unattractive. But I don't think the criticism she gets for her appearance is misogynistic.
