Pretty Surprising

Not the fastest moving action picture but as usual, WWE comes through with villains who are not one dimensional. Pretty good, well developed characters. Not everyone is all good or all bad. I'm always shocked that WWE, considering who the target audience is, consistently comes through with scripts that are entertaining but also feature more nuance in characterization than one would ever expect. Not bad at all.

SPOILERS

Having finished the film, I must amend my opinion. The last third of the film really cheaps out on the budget. We are promised a big set piece in downtown Seattle. That never happens. There's no big showdown. No really excitement. And the lead actor fails to ever become likeable (even really human) or wear anything but a dour grimace. He was really bad casting. I think this should probably be the last in the Marine series.

Yeah, i agree. Had some decent actors in it, such as the bad guy from Walking Tall and Darren Shalavi but "The Miz" whilst he had the moves, just took it too seriously. No one liners or having fun with it at all. There is only one Marine, JOhn Cena. The first one was awesome.Decent budget, looked good, great action and Robert Patrick. Bring John Cena back or put this series to rest. It was a bit more interesting than Marine 2, but thats not saying much.

Does Neal McDonough have a big part in this? He plays Jonah Pope & he is my favorite actor, he was really good in Walking Tall & he was awesome as Robert Quarles in season 3 of Justifed,

How manh scenes does he have?
