I just saw this movie for the first time tonight. I wasn't that into it because it reminded me of Ground Hog Day where Bill Murray keeps replaying the day over and over. He finds out what would make people like him, especially the girl (Andie McDowell) and then studies whatever it is and when the time is right, he plays the piano, etc. etc. etc.

But, that's not why I'm posting here. I have never seen Marla Sokoloff before but, I thought she looked pregnant in a few scenes. Did anyone else notice that? I see that she did have a baby in February of 2012 so, it could be that she was pregnant or recently had her baby when they filmed. I was just wondering if anyone else thought so too.

No. I think she was just fat. A lot of these movies are meant to be a fat girl's fantasy.
They mean to make fat girls believe that they can land the perfect looking man - tall, thin, could-be-a-model hunk. Of course in real life, the perfect looking guy is with the perfect looking girl.

Wow, it has been a year since I wrote this post but, I never thought I would hear such a cynical mean comment. What happened to you or are you the one who likes to make other people feel bad?

This post is parts mean, hyterical, and true.
This must be why the leads are never super duper attractive.
I notice all these TV movies never have 9's or 10's in the lead...I guess to appeal to the everyday woman.

She was pregnant which is just ONE of the reasons I thought this was such a poorly done movie.The lead has to be bundled up to prevent anyone realizing she's 5 mos pregnant....she needs someone else to do the poorly executed "skate" routines...which was obvious because her legs were very heavy and her fill in had very slender legs.Don't know why they couldn't just find someone NOT pregnant to do this role since the whole show was such a cluster flock anyway or better yet...write it so it made some kind of sense.
