I know you posted this in July, but I'm 10 minutes in and the way this woman is talking to the mother she hasn't seen in years is reprehensible. Yet, I'm sure she'll get a happy ending. I'm hoping it gets better, and she starts acting like a decent person and not a snarky witch. So far she's acting like she's doing everyone a favor by being home and attending the wedding.

I agree totally with her scorn of the scouts selling cookies. All she needed to say was "No, thank you." I realize she just got fired, but I think her personality may have contributed to that corporate decision.
Why, if I didn't know better, I'd think her character feels superior to those living a small town from where she left to become rich.
BTW, what became of that Christmas film where the movie company comes to a small town and the star gets involved with the cookie princess? I forget the name of it, but I liked it.
