If every day was the same... (spoilers)

Yes, there were so many things wrong with this movie, but just in terms of the continuity of what was supposed to be happening (each xmas eve day repeating), there are 2 major things that jump out at me.

1. Every day is the same and then all of a sudden she bumps into the guy at the ice rink one morning? I get that she was practicing to impress him, but wouldn't she have seen him there every day while practicing?

2. At the end of the movie her mom comes downstairs, reads the note and shows up at the wedding reception in time to hear her speech. But each day her mother had to open the dinner, so why on the last day was her mother just leaving the house well after the wedding started (which was 1)?

I can handle most of what happened, I mean, it's a silly, fun movie, but those 2 things really deviated from the 'repeated day' story. Wondered if anyone else noticed...
