GIBSON RULES

So good in this, by far the best bad guy in the series so far. Please give him another chance Hollywood, his talent is going to waste.
Snipes was also a good addition, and although this probably was the weakest of the three I still enjoyed it. Just cut out the kids next time....

I agree; he was great in this.

Can't wait for Blood Father

SOO STUPID THAT GIBSON IS ON THE RAZZIE SHORT LIST FOR THIS FILM! He was awesome and was one of the very few bright spots of the film.

reply

It will because of what happened in his personal life. His performance was great, the acting in the scene in the van was immense and I wish the film had stayed that dark and intense

reply

The Razzies lack integrity. I predict he won't actually make the nomination list.

reply

Why did Arnie and Gibson got nominated at Razzies.
they were the best thing about this movie....

reply

I agree, the movies overall wasn't great but he sure was. Awesome villain.

What's best in life ?

It had been so long since I'd seen Mel that I'd forgotten how much he brings to a roll. I'm sure he knew it was a silly part. But he owned the hell out of it.

"Men like you don't die on toilets." Mel Gibson-Riggs, Lethal Weapon

reply

Not quite as good as Van Damme, but better than Eric Roberts! He did great, shame he had to die such a nothing death with no body count to his name.

Expendables has really nailed it so far for bad guys.

reply

Really? I think he was much better than Van Damme

reply

They were both very good, but I edge Van Damme slightly for the fight scene and his dialogue within that scene, was awesomely bad stuff.

Both fight scenes were very Sly centric and egotistical, I seriously only remember Van Damme landing 2 shots (flying spinning back kick) against Sly, and the Gibson fight scene, he never really looked like winning. Stallone needs to be told to get over himself a little, ever since the first movie vs Stone Cold, all the fight scenes involving him have been very one sided and a little disrespectful to his opposites.

reply

I would have loved to see Mel as the primary villain and Van Damme as his henchman.

reply

he killed 2 of his own men

Mel was the only redeeming feature of this film
