Snipes was convicted of three MISDEMEANOR counts of not filing a tax return and in 2008 got the maximum sentence of 3 years. Whoever heard of a guy doing 3 years for a misdemeanor.?

Bush didn't make the tax laws. The president doesn't enforce the tax laws. Snipes was actually acquitted of trying to defraud the IRS of millions of dollars in refunds. Snipes didn't even report to prison until December of 2010 which means Obama never stepped in either.
The irony of how un-American it is for an American to prosper in America then try to claim they are not American to get out of paying taxes as an American is amazing.
I don't know who has served time for 3 misdemeanor tax evasion charges. I don't really care. Fact is, he fell for a line of crap saying the Govt. didn't have the authority to collect taxes. He also filed fraudulent returns. If he would have paid what he owed, he would not have been sent to jail. He tried hiding his money in a scam church account. He is the reason he went to jail, not President Bush.
