Wonderful

Lovely little film, quirky and odd in the best French tradition. The remarkable thing is that Jean-Claude Brisseau financed this film from his own savings - and fortunately made a quick profit by winning the Golden Leopard.

He used his own Paris flat as a setting, and cut corners everywhere - the result is a minor masterpiece turned out for €62,000.

Worked OK for me. Nothing into the erotic, except for a few beautiful nude shots of the girl, but I really enjoyed it.

He was wonderful. I can't say the same for the actress. I fund her incredibly bland.

But I did enjoy the movie.

I have just watched this and really enjoyed it. The two principals were superb and the 'weird events' didn't seem at all awkward. I read that the ending was a cop-out, that the director didn't know how to end the film, but I thought it was logical and appropriate. 9/10
